JOB SUMMARY:

The Parts Sales and Operations Supervisor will provide leadership for and supervision to the employees in the parts department. This individual will manage the parts operation (i.e. counter sales, warehouse & parts delivery), provide exceptional customer service, and maintain superior employee relations. It is critical of this role to maintain and manage the proper items and quantities of items on hand, establish an inventory minimum or maximum, and meet or exceed part inventory turns and parts first pass fill rate. The Parts Sales and Operations Supervisor is responsible for developing and meeting the parts budget and overall goals of the department.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: A high school diploma is required; A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Five years of purchasing or procurement and five years in a parts department, customer contact position, or parts sales role is required; Must have prior management or supervisory experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Manual Dexterity: Regular repetitive use of hands to operate computer and office equipment such as a keyboard.
• Mobility: Frequently required to sit or stand for prolonged periods. Occasionally will stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
• Strength: May occasionally lift and/or move moderate to light amounts of weight.
• Vision: Specific vision abilities include color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Work Environment: The noise level can vary from quiet in office settings to moderate or loud in other situations, with sudden loud noises possible.
