As the PeopleSoft General Ledger Functional Specialist, you’ll work on the Requirements and Configuration Management (RACM) team to research and troubleshoot production support issues in OAKS Financials (PeopleSoft, the State of Ohio’s ERP). The ideal candidate will possess the technical skills to debug and provide root cause analysis of production support issues. They will have an accounting background with an understanding of PeopleSoft (PS), General Ledger and Commitment Control. These are the main responsibilities of the job:
- Assist with the PS Financials Functional team
- Manage various parts of modifications/enhancements and configuration
- Assist with projects and image upgrades
- Define functional requirements for design documents and configuration
- Create and document proof of concept
- Understand integrations of data between external applications and other PS modules
- Create proposed custom solutions to PS
- Test and document results
- Write SQL and create PS Queries

Minimum Qualifications
- Completion of undergraduate core coursework in business administration, public administration, information systems, engineering or comparable field; 3 years experience in business process transformation, organizational design, strategic human capital management &/or business process reengineering; 12 months experience in software design &/or development commensurate with position to be filled.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
- 3 years’ experience working with PeopleSoft or SAP as a developer or functional support with an accounting background.
- Governmental accounting is preferred.
