Are you passionate about high-quality scholarship and communicating the importance of research to the public?

Aurora, Ohio Northern University’s interdisciplinary undergraduate research journal, is hiring a Managing Editor and an Assistant Managing Editor for the upcoming academic year. As a managing editor, you will work closely with the faculty advisor to oversee our annual publication and digital presence. All editors are part of the Web Practicum class, where you will collaborate across three specialized teams: Web, Editorial, and Marketing. These positions require one hour of paid work per week in addition to scheduled class time.

Managing Editors should be organized, dedicated students who are excited about publishing and leadership. Whether you are interested in the technical side of our web team, the fine details of the editorial team, or the creative outreach of the marketing team, these roles offer vital professional experience. You will help manage a team that not only showcases elite undergraduate research from ONU and beyond but also actively works to promote media literacy and combat online misinformation.
