The Office of Research & Analytics utilizes strategic planning, policy research, program evaluation & data analysis to support OHFA’s program offices & drive the Agency’s mission. In partnership with universities, state agencies & community-based organizations, the Office of Research & Analytics produces high quality data & actionable research that informs affordable housing policies throughout the state.
- Designs and conducts research of policy-relevant housing issues for OHFA
- Works with the Office of Multifamily Housing on the Qualified Allocation Plan
- Works with agency partners on projects
- Works with others to prepare & publish research findings (e.g., statistical and narrative reports, policy briefs)
Item Of Note
- This position will work from OHFA's offices which are located at 2600 Corporate Exchange Drive, Columbus, OH 43231.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, City and Regional Planning, Data Analytics, Public Policy, or related field
- 2 classes or 6 months' work experience with at least one of the following: Tableau, PowerBI, R, State, SAS, ESRI ArcGIS
- 2 classes or 6 months' work experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and convey complex information to a wide range of audiences
- Strong understanding of the primary subject matter relevant to OHFA’s mission as well as the data resources that contribute to that work
