What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welding & Fabrication Instructor position at Ohio Hi-Point Career Center?
Responsibilities:
Provide classroom and laboratory instruction to high school students for employment or further education in the field of welding and fabrication. Evaluate student performance, work cooperatively with parents, community, business/industry, and school personnel.
Requirements:
A valid Ohio career-technical education certificate or license or five years of work experience in welding and fabrication. Broad knowledge of welding applications, procedures, specifications, industry codes and standards.
Preferences:
Effective organizational, planning, and project management skills. Ability to identify, evaluate, and implement program options, auxiliary services, and curricular materials that support the diverse learning needs of students. Experience in working with career technical student organizations. Must be able to communicate well and work collaboratively.
