Salary range is based on degree and years of experience. Beginning salary range is $41,000 - $73,945.
Requirements:
A valid Ohio career-technical engineering or manufacturing certificate or license, or a high school diploma with at least five years of industry experience in the engineering field.
Preferences:
Strong background in CAD, PLC, robotics, and electronics with a basic understanding of welding. Effective organizational, planning and project management skills. Ability to identify, evaluate, and implement program options, auxiliary services, and curricular materials that support the diverse learning needs of students.
Responsibilities:
Provide classroom and laboratory instruction to high school students for employment or further education in the field of engineering and manufacturing. Facilitate student participation in designing projects and defining criteria for projects. Provide opportunities for students to earn various industry credentials. Establish and communicate clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects. Evaluate student performance, work cooperatively with parents, community, business/industry, and school personnel to maintain a program which meets Department of Education and Workforce industry standards. Serve as SkillsUSA advisor.
