Summary:
The Director of Foundation Operations will be a key member to the Foundation team with responsibilities for management and oversite of all foundation services including gift administration, prospect management, prospect research, database administration, budgeting, and project and fund management. The Director of Foundation Operations will be a member of the Foundation management team and will be responsible for leading and managing staff within the operations team. This position will act as a liaison between the Foundation and OhioHealth Finance, and Information Technology and Legal and other internal stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (Required)
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
Minimum 8-10 years of experience. Extensive experience using and managing a complex foundation database system (Raisers Edge or a similar tool). Well-versed in corporate, foundation and individual giving and needs to be proficient in the development of fundraising policies. Strong project management skills. Proven experience in managing Foundation gift processing, receipting, and preparing reports and reconcile financials. Skilled in donor prospect research with experience using online tools such as Wealth Engine, Raisers Edge, Dow Jones interactive, Lexis/Nexis, Dun and Bradstreet, other internet search engines, and donor screening tools. Creative thinker and leader with the ability to manage multiple services within the Foundation. Ability to work independently on multiple projects and establish deadlines and measurable goals. Demonstrates integrity, confidentiality, and analytical ability.
