What You Have Achieved
- Top sales performer, ideally in construction, steel, safety products, food and beverage, or industrial manufacturing
- Must live in the Midwest – but will work remotely.
- Proven success building a territory and exceeding revenue targets
- Comfortable in steel-toed boots and closing deals in the boardroom
- Strong understanding of the sales cycle, from prospecting to pipeline management to after-sale support
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-starter mentality – you're accountable, driven, and thrive without supervision
- CRM experience is a plus
- Strong reporting and goal-setting habits
- Ready and willing for travel to close deals or generate leads
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, fall prevention, or traction control systems
- Experience selling to General Contractors, DOTs, utilities, or heavy industrial clients
- Technical aptitude with product demos and site conditions
What You Will Achieve
- Build and own your territory – from lead generation to closing deals and expanding accounts
- Identify and engage general contractors, engineers, architects, facility managers, and safety directors across commercial, industrial, and municipal markets
- Consistently follow up and follow through
- Assimilate with a team and live out the core values of the organization
- Promote our full line of traction safety surfaces, anti-slip coatings, stair systems, and steel solutions
- Conduct on-site product demos, safety assessments, and presentations
- Collaborate with inside sales, project managers, and technical teams to deliver seamless customer experiences
- Develop a strong referral network
- Stay ahead of market trends, competitors, and customer needs in your region
- Consistently hit or exceed sales targets and territory growth KPIs
- Attend company trainings and industry events
- Look for referral opportunities for other lines of business within the OGI family of companies
- Other duties as requested by the TSP supervisor or management staff.
EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, AND PROFICIENCIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) a plus
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, fall prevention, or traction control systems
- Experience selling to General Contractors, DOTs, utilities, or heavy industrial clients
- Technical aptitude with product demos and site conditions
