Ohio Geese Control provides our clients with reputable, highly trained professionals to design a custom geese management program guaranteed to deliver results in a timely and professional manner, with Migratory Bird specialists who are well educated and courteous.Essential Job Functions:Part-time is typically 2 – 3 days a week (8-hour days)Maintain geese control by servicing clienteleDrive, walk and handle Border CollieEnsure safety of all involvedMaintain hourly and daily log of services renderedLog number of geese at each locationMaintain hours workedMaintain daily and weekly mileage logged on vehicleMaintain cleanliness of dog, car and equipmentPass and maintain ODNR nuisance wildlife management certificationRequired Qualifications: Valid driver’s license, good driving recordSuccessfully pass and maintain ODNR certificationDrive (including on the highway) 50 – 150 miles a dayWalk long distances, up/down steep pond banks, varied and uneven terrain, on/off paths, while maintaining control of dogDrive and walk in inclement weather conditionsAbility to lift and or carry 30 – 40 lb. Border CollieExperience:Experience with and a love of dogsExceptional time management and organization skillsAbility to effectively build and foster good relationshipsDetail-oriented and ability to foresee and manage adverse situationsAccept and follow guidelines provided by managementAbility to learn ways to handle dog, geese, and job at handOhio Geese Control is an equal employment opportunity employer.
