Job description:Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant/Study Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring the highest level of patient care, as well as conduct research. Due to this being a new position, this person will likely spend the first several months doing more Medical Assistant work, and roughly a quarter of their day doing Study Coordinator work.
Duties
Perform patient intake procedures, including taking vital signs and recording medical histories
Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures
Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
Conduct research alongside physicians and vendors
Requirements:Highschool diploma or equivalent
Clinical Background Preferred, But Not Required
Willingness to travel within a multi-office setting
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to demonstrate knowledge to patients within a clinical trial setting
Strong foundation in medical terminology
