We are seeking an Ancillary Services Coordinator to help improve patient outcomes through effective use of ancillary and over the counter (OTC) services. Based in our XYZ office, this role ensures patients have access to the full range of therapies and products that can enhance recovery, mobility, and long-term health. By reviewing patient schedules, reminding providers of eligibility, and supporting treatment protocols, the Ancillary Services Coordinator plays an important role in connecting patients with the care they need.
Key Responsibilities: Review daily patient schedules to identify opportunities for ancillary and OTC services that support better outcomes. Provide reminders to providers about patient eligibility for services and treatments. Implement and maintain treatment protocols to ensure consistent, high-quality care. Collaborate with providers and staff to integrate ancillary services into patient care plans. Track and analyze utilization to identify opportunities for improved patient care. Support staff education on ancillary services, emphasizing their role in recovery and health. Work with vendors and internal teams to maintain product availability and timely patient access.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree not required. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and patient-focused follow-through. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage providers and staff. Comfortable reviewing schedules, identifying care opportunities, and tracking outcomes. Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a patient-centered care team.
