Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Medical Assistant role located in Canton, OH. The Medical Assistant will provide direct support to healthcare providers and patients by performing clinical and administrative tasks. Daily responsibilities include assisting in patient care, managing medical records, maintaining medical equipment, preparing examination rooms, and utilizing medical terminology in communication and documentation. The role requires a strong commitment to ensuring patient comfort and efficient clinic operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Assisting and understanding of Medical Terminology
- Experience working in a Medical Office and handling Medical Records
- Strong skills in providing Patient Care, with a focus on empathy and professionalism
- Ability to multitask and maintain organizational skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Certification as a Medical Assistant or an equivalent qualification is preferred
- Basic computer knowledge, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members effectively
