We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our busy Ophthalmology Practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment. Experience in cleaning and floor care is highly valued. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of exam rooms, entry ways, offices, and Surgical Center
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Conduct floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and stripping floors to ensure a polished appearance
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Follow established safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning healthcare environments preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, and polishing floors
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in fast-paced settings
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Previous housekeeping experience is desirable but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
