Overview
We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team part-time. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients, assisting with their daily needs, and supporting the healthcare team in delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care.
- Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, health status, and responses to treatments.
- Assist with medical procedures and perform basic life support as needed.
- Educate patients and families about health management, medication administration, and post-care instructions.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in patient assessments and contribute to triage processes when necessary.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by adhering to infection control standards.
Skills
The successful candidate should possess a diverse set of skills that may include but are not limited to:
- Critical care experience
- Medical office experience
- Triage capabilities
- ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10) knowledge
