Core Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding Activities
- Manage Vacancies: Advertise vacancies, screen applications, schedule and conduct interviews.
- Pre-Hire Processing: Schedule and conduct pre-hire meetings (e.g., background checks, schedule drug screenings).
- Onboarding: Participate in new employee orientation (e.g., prepare materials and conduct Human Resources portion of orientation).
- Outreach: Attend career fairs. Research recruitment methods and strategies.
- Enrollment: Assist and enroll employees in benefits including medical, dental, and vision.
- Leave Management: Track, process, monitor, and certify Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and/or Occupational Injury Leave.
- Claims Coordination: Track, process, and monitor Workers’ Compensation, Unemployment, and/or disability benefits.
- Accuracy and Review: Review payroll reports and make necessary corrections to ensure accurate compensation.
- Time Entry: Assist in overall payroll processing activities and enter off-work payroll components.
