- Starting Hourly Pay: $18.82 with your first raise at 6 months and regular increases throughout your early years of service
- Part-time positions available on 1st and 2nd shifts / Full-time position available on 2nd shift.
- Longevity increases start at your fifth year and grows as long as you stay with the State of Ohio

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve food to residents & employees
- Follow all food handling, food safety & food service sanitation practices
- Set up dining areas for meal service and tear down dining areas after meal service
- Set up salad bar for meal service and tear down salad bar after meal service
- Use appropriate portion control utensils properly
- Adhere to all diet, texture & special instructions (e.g., adaptive equipment tray setup) on resident meal tickets
- Use thermometer to monitor & record food temperatures as instructed
- Deliver meal & snack items to nursing unit dining rooms &/or kitchenettes
- Portion foods into individual servings
- Cover, label, date & store perishable items, &/or leftover food items
- Clean &/or prepare fruit, vegetables & other foods for cooking &/or serving; makes sandwiches, salads, desserts, dressings & beverages; grills, fries & toasts food
- Obtain, fulfill, & serve food & drink orders in restaurant-style capacity.
- Operate kitchen & cleaning equipment (e.g., grill, dishwasher, oven, floor mixer, coffee maker, service area, microwave, slicers, toaster, fryer, broiler, blender, steamer, oven, etc.)
- Receive stock deliveries & properly secures all frozen, refrigerated & dry goods
