- Develop and maintain Ohio bridge standards by contributing to official ODOT publications like the Bridge Design Manual and Standard Bridge Drawings.
- Research, develop, and support policy for the design, construction, and maintenance of bridges.
- Advise internal and external stakeholders on bridge policy and project related issues.
- Utilize Engineering Software (e.g. Leap Bridge Concrete/Steel, Midas, Merlin-Dash, CADD-ORD/OBM/OBD, Mathcad).
- Manage projects related to policy development and develop/lead training classes.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and sign engineering documents as a registered professional engineer.
