  • Works under general direction and requires general supervisory principals/techniques thorough knowledge of personnel directives Formulates and implements HR program policy and procedures Knowledge of applicable collective bargaining agreements and state and federal law
  • Acts for Managers (HCMM) for both the Trends and Solutions and Comp and Benefits sections, responding to programmatic issues and needs of staff
  • Serves as liaison between HCMMs and Bureau of Personnel Serves as liaison between institution personnel staff, wardens, members of Department of Rehabilitation and Correction executive staff and other applicable staff
  • Transmits decisions and directives and represents HCMMs Provides counsel to employees and technical advice to management and/or refers to appropriate resources to aid in decision-making
  • Analyzes and evaluates programs, procedures and policies and provides suggestions to solve complex issues and concerns
  • Tableau visualizations for custom and varied projects
  • Responsible for BI Cognos reports (e.g., CIIC and ACA reporting Visio macro builds for tables of organization and content
  • Coordinates technical support for Kronos users
  • Programs hardware for timeclocks, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to security access, pay rules, and employee timecards
  • Responsible for TOR requests and accrual balances and creates CRM requests as needed
  • Responsible for creating and assignment of hyperfinds/filters Maintenance of schedule and delegation groups
  • Research and resolving issues related to import and updating information
  • Responds to requests for public information and other communication as directed
  • Works with other State agencies on special project needs Participates in User Acceptance testing and training for implementation and testing of new features, functionality and upgrades for Kronos, Cognos and Tableau.

4 yrs. trg. or 4 yrs. exp. in business administration management science or public administration.

  • Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration; 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position.
  • Or completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development.
  • Or 1 yr. exp. as Program Administrator 1, 63122.
  • Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above
