- Aid in &/or conduct school security & vulnerability assessments.
- Conduct outreach & assessments, review security plans & prepared documents for assigned State/Public/Private facilities &/or properties to include emergency operation plans for compliance with state and federal statutes.
- Inform manager & Ohio School Safety Center Executive Director of real &/or potential infrastructure security issues that could adversely affect Ohio schools & higher education institutions (Public & Private), properties & citizens.
- Assist in the development of best practice guides & marketing for emergency management for K-12 & higher education.
- Provide research on school safety emergency management exercise & planning best practices for the purpose of information sharing & developing tools for Ohio schools & universities.
- Assist with developing & implementing trainings.
- Assist with the annual school safety summit development & implementation.
Option 1
