- Provide outline content for semi-annual display change-outs; Research needed artifacts; Contact retirees for information or materials.
- Create & write content for video displays &/or information cards for each displayed item; Proofread & edit final copy of printed materials; Find & edit photos to accompany displays.
- Collaborate with Visual Communications to create banners, displays, posters & other visual content.
- Prepare artifacts for transport to the academy; Remove current display items & return them to the office.
- Request video copies from the Photo Lab for historical records & for any spotlighted person or family.
- Reach out to retirees & other groups to solicit donations of specific artifacts.
Option 1
2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in preparing various forms of literature for publication (e.g., newswriting; reporting; editing; photojournalism; graphics of communication).
Option 2
- Or completion of undergraduate core program in journalism.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
