AND additional 4 1/2 years (54 mos.) exp. commensurate with job duties to be performed & knowledges & skills required as outlined in approved position description on file for position to be filled as advertised in job posting.
AND 6 mos. exp. in performing project management functions as defined in series purpose.
OR equivalent of Minimum Class Qualification For Employment noted above.

- Within the Information Technology Office (ITO) Support section, supervise information technology staff whose primary duties involve writing, analyzing & designing computer programs &/or systems integration for minicomputer &/or monitoring & maintaining minicomputer control processing unit operations.
- Oversee operations & activities of the PC Support, Operations & Service desk units (e.g., establish & enforce unit policies & procedures, schedule & conduct staff meetings, review work completed by staff, assist in resolving difficult computer problems, etc.).
- Oversee the 24x7 support of internal IT customers; Plan & initiate upgrades for the Ohio Department of Public Safety (ODPS) to keep desktops in a supported state.
- Manage & monitor tickets via tracking system (i.e., ServiceNow).
- Oversee the IT processes of Moves, Adds, & Changes of ODPS employees within the building & externally (i.e., ATP, BMV, EMA, ACF, etc.); Ensure the transition process of moving employees in & out of ODPS runs smoothly & non-disruptive; Develop & implement changes to the process to increase functionality when required.
