What You Will Do…
- Monitors IT spending and software licensing utilization to ensure cost-efficiency and alignment with biennium budget allotments
- Facilitates communication between agency divisions and OIT to help staff identify technical needs and ensure proposed purchases align with documented standards
- Reviews and approves IT-related procurement transactions (vouchers and requisitions) within Ohio Buys to ensure compliance with State of Ohio and internal agency policies and OIT standards
- Collaborates with the Project Management Office to identify opportunities for streamlining operations, developing standard templates, and promoting efficiency across the agency
- Program Area: OIT Expenditures & Resource Oversight
- May require travel. May be expected to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Starting hourly pay of $32.35/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 6.5 years of service, with an end salary of $46.09/hr.
- There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state service. For more details, refer to the Exempt pay range schedule & longevity rates Exempt Employees | Department of Administrative Services.
- Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration AND 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position.
- Or completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area (OIT Expenditures & Resource Oversight) assigned per approved Position Description on file AND 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development.
- Or 1 yr. exp. as Program Administrator 1, 63122.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above
