Completion of graduate core program in business, management or public administration, public health, health administration, social or behavioral science or public finance; 12 mos. exp. in the delivery of a health services program or health services project management (e.g., health care data analysis, health services contract management, health care market & financial expertise; health services program communication; health services budget development, HMO & hospital rate development, health services eligibility, health services data base analysis).

Job Overview
The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking a healthcare professional to be part of our Home and Communty-Based Services (HCBS) Care Coordination Team. As the Waiver Clinical Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and evaluating care management services and waiver administration practices for Ohio Department of Aging (AGE) and Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) waivers.
- Assisting in the development of innovative program initiatives designed to improve access to health services for HCBS populations (e.g. individuals with chronic conditions, older adult populations, children with special health care needs, and populations with developmental disabilities).
- Overseeing and monitoring collaborative initiatives between Managed Care Plans and Waiver Agency Care Management programs.
- Managing the reviewal, analyzation, and interpretation of data and reports.
- Recommending follow up activities related to Managed Care Plan and Waiver Agency Care Management program performance .
- Coordinating policy and program planning and ensuring care management delivery systems are implemented within a population health model.
- Collaborating with sister state agencies in order to redesign and promote the Participant Directed model of care.
Completion of graduate core program in business, management or public administration, public health, health administration, social or behavioral science or public finance; 12 mos. exp. in the delivery of a health services program or health services project management (e.g., health care data analysis, health services contract management, health care market & financial expertise; health services program communication; health services budget development, HMO & hospital rate development, health services eligibility, health services data base analysis).
- Or 12 months experience has Medicaid Health Systems Specialist, 65293. Note: education & experience is to be commensurate with approved position description on file.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment.
