Job Overview
The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking a healthcare professional to join our Behavioral Health Policy Team. As the Behavioral Health Policy Payment and Reimbursement Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders across a variety of organizations, departments, and state agencies to improve behavioral health care for the individuals served by ODM.
- maintaining and updating policy documents including provider enrollment, billing manuals, and policy guidance.
- collaborating with other ODM program areas including Provider Enrollment, Fiscal Intermediary, Managed Care, and OhioRISE for policy coordination and development.
- researching state and federal regulations to support policy development and implementation.
- responding to inquiries related to the application of Medicaid behavioral health policy.
- assisting in policy and program development for new services and enhancements to existing vendor systems.
- Or 12 months experience has Medicaid Health Systems Specialist, 65293. Note: education & experience is to be commensurate with approved position description on file.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment.
