Duties
The Division of Administration, Fiscal section is seeking candidates to fill a Budget Analyst position. The Budget Analyst will perform the following duties, which include but are not limited to:
- Prepares, maintains, & analyzes various financial reports
- Maintains & reviews chart of accounts to enter data in systems (e.g. Ohio Buys, Pcard Reconciliation Portal, Excel)
- Performs drawdown through the Automated Standard Application for Payments (ASAP) system
- Independently researches & analyzes complex information to resolve errors or problems
- Performs fiscal monitoring of approve grants; completes and maintains data
- Performs various fiscal related and non-fiscal tasks
- Or completion of undergraduate core program in accounting, public finance, public administration or business administration; 12 mos. exp. in budgeting that included fiscal analysis, management & control (e.g., probability; linear regression; multiple variable regression; computer assisted regression analysis models; trend analysis; forecasting cost benefit analysis).
- Or Completion of graduate core program in accounting, public finance, public administration or business administration which included coursework in quantitative/statistical analysis (e.g., probability; linear regression; multiple variable regression; computer assisted regression analysis models; trend analysis; forecasting cost benefit analysis).
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
