Agency Overview
Correction Lieutenant - 3rd Shift
Central Ohio Behavioral Healthcare
- Supervises correction officers assigned to shift being covered
- Recommends approval/disapproval of officer leave requests
- Completes shift reports for submittal to Captain
- Completes annual and probationary Performance Evaluations as assigned
- Supports Nursing Leadership on shift as needed
- Train officers in the security operations at Timothy B. Moritz Forensic Unit
- Monitors & coordinates shift security operations & documents activities
- Makes daily inspection rounds to observe shift activity & to ensure compliance with all security, safety, fire, health, sanitation & other hospital regulations
- Response to emergency codes to support staff & patients
