Job Summary
The Ohio Peterbilt Outside Parts Sales Rep is responsible for growing sales with assigned accounts and new customers by establishing strong customer relationships through consistent in-person sales calls, managing accounts with excellent communication, and collaborating with management, team members, and other departments to ensure premium customer service.
Job Qualifications
- Education:A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience: Three to five years of experience with heavy-duty parts is preferred.
- Additional: Must reside in the territory at the time of the position start; a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
- Strong Communicator:possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter & Problem-solver: with strong time managementand organizational skills.
- Customer Service Excellence:Providing outstanding service to all customers both internally and externally, and maintaining a positive attitude.
- Computer Skills:Basic computer skills, including Microsoft applications.
- Technical & Mechanical Skills: has a strong mechanical aptitudeand strong sales skills.

Physical Requirements
- Manual Dexterity:Regularrepetitive use of hands, wrists, and fingers will be required. Must be able to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination, including the use of a computer keyboard.
- Mobility:Frequently required tosit or stand for prolonged periods. Occasionally, willstoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist. May ascend and descend stairs frequently and climb into machines.
- Strength:Mayoccasionallylift and/ormove light to moderate amounts of weight.
- Work Environment: Noise levels can rangefrom quiet in office settings to moderate or loud in other situations, with sudden loud noises possible.
