BWC’s core hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, however, daily start/end times may vary based on operational need across BWC departments. Most positions perform work on-site at one of BWC’s seven offices across the state. BWC offers flex-time work schedules that allow an employee to start the day as early as 7:00am or as late as 8:30am. Flex-time schedules are based on operational need and require supervisor approval.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee statewide fleet management operations, including vehicle purchasing, assignment, utilization, and disposition.
- Develop, implement, and enforce policies governing fleet operations and the Universal Fleet Voyager Credit Card program.
- Supervise Fleet Management staff, including hiring, performance evaluation, coaching, and disciplinary recommendations.
- Establish departmental goals and performance standards and implement strategies to improve operational effectiveness.
- Review and analyze fleet performance data to guide decisions on vehicle usage, mileage, and assignments.
- Oversee agency‑wide equipment and asset inventory to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper reporting.
- Lead statewide inventory processes, resolve discrepancies with internal and external partners, and recommend improvements to asset‑control policies.
- Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration; 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position.
- Or completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development.
- Or 1 yr. exp. as Program Administrator 1, 63122.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above
