What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cambridge - Employer Services Specialist - 20069881 position at Ohio BWC (official)?
BWC’s core hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, however, daily start/end times may vary based on operational need across BWC departments. Most positions perform work on-site at one of BWC’s seven offices across the state. BWC offers flex-time work schedules that allow an employee to start the day as early as 7:00am or as late as 8:30am. Flex-time schedules are based on operational need and require supervisor approval.

Skill in operation of personal computer*.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Work with noncomplying employers before taking enforcement steps to obtain compliance with Ohio's Workers' Compensation Laws.
- Review the information provided and develop an action plan to attempt to obtain coverage, reinstatement, or proper reporting.
- Work closely with BWC Collections Unit and State Attorney General to assist with payment arrangements.
- Responsible for facilitating all necessary customer service activities in a final effort to obtain a positive compliance resolution.
- Work closely with BWC Special Investigations Unit when steps are not taken to remedy compliance issues.
- Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, insurance & risk management or related field of study; must be able to provide own transportation.
- Or 2 yrs. exp. in public or private insurance organization position that involved insurance sales, marketing or provision of consultative services to commercial clients/employers; must be able to provide own transportation.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
