The successful candidate will perform the following duties, which include but are not limited to:
- Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable systems, focusing on performance, security, and maintainability under the guidance of senior developers.
- Participate in technical evaluations, code reviews, and performance assessments, providing and receiving constructive feedback to foster growth.
- Promote best practices in coding, debugging, and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including product managers, to understand technical roadmaps and guide strategic decisions.
- Troubleshoot issues, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement preventive measures to enhance system reliability and uptime.
- Support agile methodologies by participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging tools, frameworks, and methodologies, and suggest relevant advancements to the team.
- Contribute to the development of reusable frameworks, libraries, and tools to streamline development processes.
- Manage technical debt by balancing short-term delivery needs with long-term system health through strategic refactoring and optimization.
- Support data migration initiatives, ensuring data integrity and accuracy through careful planning and validation.
- Design, develop, and maintain web services, leveraging knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and service-oriented architectures.
- Reinforce proficiency in the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET, C#, Azure, and related tools, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Assist in establishing and documenting processes and best practices for software development, ensuring consistency and clarity for the team.
- Or 4 years exp. as a Software Developer 2;
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
