OHI Electric is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead crews on commercial construction projects. The Foreman is responsible for completing projects safely, efficiently, and according to plans, specifications, codes, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electricians and apprentices on commercial job sites.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Plan daily work and assign tasks to crew members.
- Coordinate work with project managers, general contractors, and other trades.
- Track labor hours, materials, progress, and job-site conditions.
- Request materials and equipment in a timely manner.
- Ensure work complies with the National Electrical Code and applicable local requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Conduct daily safety discussions and enforce company safety policies.
- Identify potential delays, conflicts, or change-order work and report them promptly.
- Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
- Train and develop apprentices and less-experienced electricians.
Qualifications
- Commercial electrical construction experience required.
- Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code.
- Ability to organize crews, materials, and project schedules.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform the physical duties associated with electrical construction.
