Ohel is seeking a compassionate and skilled Parenting Coach to join our dedicated team of professionals who are committed to delivering exemplary treatment using the latest resources and innovative practice models.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized parent coaching sessions in the home to guide parents in meeting the developmental needs of children ages 0-10.
- Create schedules, problem solving around difficult behaviors and frequent disruptive parenting patterns, support with managing developmental milestones like toilet training.
- Assist clients with the resources and goals needed to achieve their full potential
Candidate should have knowledge of how parenting struggles impact children as well as an ability to adapt coaching techniques to meet the needs of diverse clients. Must possess strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, creative thinking and ability to document notes in an electronic health record. Ability to work with a team, including therapists and case managers as needed, is key to support client growth. This part time position is 8-10 hours a week and based in Brooklyn with home visits required.
Salary: $40.00-$50.00 an hour
