What are the responsibilities and job description for the DBT Therapist position at Ohel Children's Home and Family Services?
Ohel is seeking an experienced DBT Therapist with intensive DBT training and 3 years’ experience treating high-acuity clients, especially youth and young adults, in an outpatient Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitation Services (MHOTRS) setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual and group DBT with fidelity to the model
• Deliver trauma-informed care to complex presentations
• Complete comprehensive assessments and high-quality clinical documentation
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Participate in supervision, training and program improvement
Qualifications:
• Valid license or limited permit (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, MHC, LMFT, MFT, Psychologist)
• Intensive DBT training; 3 years with high-acuity cases
• Strong documentation and interpersonal skills
• Experience in fast-paced outpatient settings
• CAMS training a plus
