What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Community Habilitation Supervisor position at Ohel Children's Home and Family Services?
Ohel Children's Home and Family Services is seeking a well-organized and motivated professional to fill a full-time position in our Community Habilitation Program.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and emails; manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintain paper and electronic filing systems
- Print, copy, and organize documents as needed
- Process Medicaid billing and track required paperwork
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Assist with hiring, supervising, and training direct care staff to support staff working independently in homes of children and/or adults with developmental disabilities
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent communication, writing, and computer skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with patience and professionalism
- Management experience and BA preferred
- Experience working with individuals who have disabilities required.
