Duties:
-Verify Insurance , Co pay's, deductible, Co-INS
- Review and analyze patient medical records to accurately assign ICD-9, ICD-10, and DRG codes
- Ensure all medical billing and coding is in compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines
- Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for procedures
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies for reimbursement
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve any billing discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient billing records
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing issues
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of medical billing procedures, ICD-9, ICD-10, coding, and DRG systems
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
