Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Assist hosts with seating arrangements and managing reservations to optimize guest flow
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Clear and reset tables quickly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
- Support the serving staff by bussing tables and assisting with food handling as needed
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to relay special requests or dietary needs
- Maintain food safety standards by handling dishes and utensils properly, adhering to sanitation protocols
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests, team members, and kitchen staff
- Ability to handle food safely and responsibly, understanding basic food handling procedures
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
