Role Overview
As an OhanaVista Renovation Consultant, you will meet with homeowners, review their goals, assess their space, ask thoughtful questions, identify concerns, and help organize the next steps of their project. Consultants may support clients with renovation planning, scope clarity, measurements, design direction, vendor communication, material planning, and project documentation.
This is a client-facing role that requires professionalism, emotional intelligence, industry awareness, and the ability to explain renovation details in a way homeowners can understand.
Responsibilities
• Meet with homeowners for consultations, measurements, or renovation planning sessions
• Help clients clarify their goals, concerns, priorities, and project needs
• Review spaces and identify potential layout, measurement, material, or scope considerations
• Support kitchen, bath, flooring, cabinetry, and interior renovation conversations
• Gather accurate project information using OhanaVista intake tools and documentation systems
• Help clients understand realistic next steps before hiring contractors or making major decisions
• Communicate clearly with vendors, designers, contractors, and trade professionals when needed
• Provide calm, professional guidance when clients feel overwhelmed or unsure
• Represent OhanaVista with integrity, clarity, and care
Ideal Candidate
The ideal consultant has hands-on experience in one or more areas of renovation, design, construction, cabinetry, flooring, project coordination, showroom sales, estimating, or home improvement. You do not need to know everything, but you must be willing to follow systems, ask the right questions, document details carefully, and serve the client with honesty.
