Nurse Aide Training Program:

Participants start their Healthcare career with a state approved Nurse Aide Training Program (NATP) through Healthcare Training & Career Consultants in Honolulu. Following completion of NATP, work will follow as a Resident Aide with Hale O Meleana (Assisted Living Facility) in Honolulu.  Great opportunity to launch your Healthcare Career!

Free Course Instruction:

• Course schedule 7/27/26-8/13/26, Monday-Saturday 9:00am-4:30pm
• Duration: 100 hours, in-person instruction at Healthcare Training & Career Consultants, Honolulu
• Course instruction provided by State approved Nurse Aide Training Program
  • Work as a Resident Aide will commence following program completion at Hale O Meleana, Honolulu
• Final step will include Prometric Exam to obtain Certified Nurse Aide status.  

The Position:

Resident Aides provide quality care and services for residents to include personal care and activities of daily living.  Responsibilities include:

• Assist residents with their physical needs to include transporting, feeding, toileting, personal hygiene, and dressing.
• Monitor residents' condition and report changes to Resident Care Manager.
• Housekeeping duties as assigned: dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, and re-stocking items.
• Assist resident with scheduled activities and appointments.
• Review weekly care plans and monitor for updates.
  
  

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent / Minimum age of 18.
• Satisfactory completion of Nurse Aide Program preferred
• Certified (CNA) preferred.
• Experience in an environmental services or customer service position in healthcare setting preferred.
