Lab Simulation Technician

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: Lab Simulation Technician Position Purpose: The Laboratory/Simulation Technician provides operational and administrative support for clinical simulation and skills lab activities. This position collaborates with College of Nursing faculty and leadership to plan, develop, and implement simulation activities and skills lab activities. Key responsibilities include setting up and operating clinical simulations and skills activities, managing scheduling and inventory for skills lab spaces, and maintaining and troubleshooting simulation and skills equipment. The Technician also utilizes specialized software, such as Learning Space, to facilitate lab operations and ensure a seamless simulation experience. Additionally, the role oversees purchasing, environmental upkeep, and the coordination of supplies and equipment, functioning within the standards, policies, and procedures of the College. Minimum Requirements: Education: Associates degree from an accredited college or technical school in a health or technology related field required or greater combination of education and experience.
