Registered Nurse (Med-Surg Oncology) Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Active State Issued RN license
- BLS/ACLS Certificate Required
- ONS Certification preferred
- Med Surg experience required
- Oncology experience preferred but not required
- Provides professional nursing care to patients/families and the community
- Administering chemotherapy, managing cancer-related side effects, providing emotional support, and having a deep understanding of cancer care protocols.
- Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care
- Skill required in the following: MS/Tele, Telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response teams, feeding tube care and management, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, blood Product Administration, central line blood draw, peripheral line mare/management, PICC line management
