Position:

Essential Duties
· Document PPAP, Control Plan, FMEA, and Gage R & R as required
· Develop Inspection Plan Documents (IPD's) that provide a basis for making quality decisions in accordance with customer requirements and OGS procedures
· Provide required quality input during APQP and Contract Review meetings. Ensure that all customer requirements are understood and that OGS is capable of meeting those contract requirements before acknowledgement is sent to the customer
· Develop and document product quality plans including product purchase requirements and quality codes in accordance with customer/regulatory specifications and/or contract requirements
· Experience following quality systems and customer requirements
· Review quality defects occurring in production. Team player investigating root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
· Complete quality reports, customer returned product, or part failure analysis
Skill Requirements
· 5-10 years’ experience reading and understanding blueprints
· High level using GD&T in a metal cutting environment
· Basic understanding of machining operations
· Must be familiar with the use of SPC data analysis
· Must be analytical and able to interpret data
· Experience using mechanical inspection-type measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, height gages, optical comparator, hardness tester)
· Experience using a CMM is a great plus
· Computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
· This position requires working in a quality lab and shop environment
· A minimum of five (5) years Quality experience
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Work hours will follow shop hours, Monday-Thursday 6am – 5pm and possible Friday hours when needed. Flexible working hours can be a consideration.
