Overview

Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Execute a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to general dentistry, root canal therapy, and dental fabrication.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during treatments.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options available.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and general dentistry practices.
- Proficiency in infection control standards and techniques relevant to the dental field.
- Familiarity with dentrix is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
