What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager - Power Generation position at Ogmint Technical Services?
Ogmint Technical Services is a Provider of Niche professionals across the Energy Industry. We are currently seeking a Project Manager for a large Energy and AI Campus.
Key Responsibilities
- Must have Gas Turbine construction experience.
- Manage the full lifecycle of capital projects within power plants.
- Develop detailed project scopes, schedules, budgets, and execution strategies.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, and procurement teams.
- Oversee EPC contractors, subcontractors, and equipment vendors.
- Develop CAPEX and OPEX forecasts.
- Track project costs, change orders, and contingency usage.
- Manage projects involving turbines, boilers, generators, transformers, switchgear, control systems, and balance-of-plant systems.
- Support commissioning and startup activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in ME, EE, or related technical field experience.
- 7 years of experience in power generation or heavy industrial project management.
- Experience in power plant gas turbine construction.
- PMP preferred
