Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Compensation Analyst to join the firm’s Human Resources department in our Greenville, South Carolina office. The Compensation Analyst II supports the design, analysis, and administration of compensation programs for attorneys and business professionals within the firm. This role ensures compensation practices remain competitive, equitable, and aligned with the firm’s strategic goals while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.

The Compensation Analyst II supports the design, analysis, and administration of compensation programs for attorneys and business professionals within the firm. This role ensures compensation practices remain competitive, equitable, and aligned with the firm’s strategic goals while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
Essential Functions
- Conduct compensation benchmarking and market analysis using legal industry surveys and compensation databases.
- Analyze salary, bonus, and compensation structures for associates, shareholders, and business professionals.
- Support annual compensation review cycles, including merit increases and bonus planning.
- Ensure compensation programs are internally equitable and externally competitive.
- Assist with job evaluations and role leveling across departments.
- Partner with HR leadership and practice group leaders on compensation recommendations.
- Monitor compliance with pay transparency and pay equity regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive compensation data.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Compensation.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, finance, or related field;
- 5 years of experience in compensation analysis, HR analytics, or total rewards.
- Strong knowledge of compensation regulations, benchmarking and survey tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with HRIS systems (UKG preferred) and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive data with discretion and integrity.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects.
- Strong background in analytical strategies, training, and change management.
- Certification such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or SHRM certification preferred.
