Spring 2026 Business Intelligence Cooperative Student

Positions Description:

Work directly with the Fleet Support Team on improving data reporting including mine and analyze of data from various company databases. Support identifying opportunities for consolidating or leveraging data to enable more effective reporting.

Job Duties:

• Co-op is responsible for assisting the Business Intelligence Program manager in the following items: Perform data cleaning and data analysis using SQL and business intelligence (BI) tool to determine new trends and patterns.
• Use different data sources to generate reports; recommend and develop new metrics that may benefit internal business units.
• Analyze data, find patterns to develop data models based on historical data.
• Build and manage reporting solutions that can be used for business process improvement.
• Collaborate with different teams to analyze functional requirements. Must be able to interpret results and communicate status reports/important findings to management and decision-makers.
• Communicate project expectations and status to team members and stakeholders in a clear, concise, and timely fashion. Write codes as per the coding conventions and deliver solutions as defined by documentation standards.
• Research and learn new tools/technologies in the analytics world which can be integrated to the present system for planning and building new products/solution. Evaluate different tools available in the market and provide recommendations based on different criteria.
• Support efforts to identify reliability issues and appropriate solutions to address failures. Compile data for assessing operational performance and reliability data and report results from analysis. May also work closing with other resources from GSOC-IT to coordinate data collection in AZURE (data lake platform).
