Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and safety-conscious truck driver to join our team. The driver will operate a 26-foot flatbed truck, transporting concrete forms and related materials to and from construction sites. The ideal candidate has previous flatbed driving experience, understands proper load securement procedures, and takes pride in safe and reliable deliveries.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26-foot flatbed truck to transport concrete forms and materials to and from construction sites.
- Properly secure loads using straps, tie-downs, and other appropriate load-securement equipment.
- Inspect loads to ensure materials are properly secured and safe for transport.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Follow all applicable DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and professional driving record.
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members.
- Keep the truck clean and report any vehicle maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous professional truck driving experience required.
- Experience operating a flatbed truck preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must possess a current, valid DOT medical examiner's certificate (medical card).
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must have hands-on experience properly strapping down and securing loads.
- Ability to safely handle materials and assist with loading and unloading.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded.
- Ability to work independently and follow directions.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- No weekends
- Full-time position
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
