Location: District Wide
General Purpose
This position works under the Performing Area Manager by assisting in coordinating and facilitating rentals in Ogden School District auditoriums and various other locations for outside entities. The position will also be responsible for various custodial duties as needed or assigned. Custodial training will take place with the Head and/or Assistant Custodian.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assist manager with their responsibilities
- Help organize, maintain, and coordinate the use of all equipment and performing areas
- related to performances.
- Assist with the maintenance of all equipment and help keep in pristine condition.
- Assist with scheduling appropriate help and crews with individual schools.
- Cover for Performing Area Manager when they are unable to attend a performance or if more than one performance is scheduled at the same time at different locations.
- Assist with the training of new crew members as turnover occurs.
- Attend scheduled performances as needed that take place on District property.
- Garbage removal.
- Monthly online safety traing courses related to custodial work are required and mandatory.
- Vacuuming and cleaning as needed.
- Trainee under the guidance of the Performing Area Manager
Education and Experience
- One (1) year of related experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- The job occasionally requires light physical exertion including walking, standing, motor vehicle operation and other forms of light physical activity.
