Job Summary And Qualifications
Under the director of the Director of Women and Children's Services, the Nursing Manager is responsible for assisting the director in planning, administering, and evaluating the operations of NICU/Peds units. Will share accountability for the standards and scope of the nursing practice. The individual managers the flow of patients and information to expedite care, collaborating with the physicians. Demonstrates clinical competency and nursing judgement, teaching skills, and a commitment to improving the quality of patient care. Contributes to the Ogden Regional Department of Nursing and the nursing profession in a positive manner.
What qualifications you will need:
Affiliated with our hospital is Pleasant View Emergency Center. This fully equipped, freestanding facility features board-certified physicians. Our nurses and technicians are specially trained in emergency medical care and available on a 24/7 basis.
Located 10 miles north of our main hospital, PVER features 10 plus treatment rooms, comprehensive imaging technology and a medical laboratory onsite, which help to ensure accurate and prompt care.

What qualifications you will need:
- Associate Degree required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within 3 years of hire required
- Minimum 2 years in a nursing supervisor position (including Clinical Supervisor role) with minimum 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care nursing setting requried
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Neonate Resuscitate
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- FEMA / NIMS certification required within 90 days from hire date
