Job Summary And Qualifications
As a Librarian of Imaging, you will be an important part of a team that considers themselves a family where each member works hard to support each other. We are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.
In this role:
- You will provide technical support to internal and external customer by efficiently performing a wide variety of tasks utilizing digital and Picture and Archive Communications Systems (PACS) technology for accurate and efficient utilization of electronic/ manual image and date storage, reporting and distribution technologies. These include Centricity PACS, GE Digital Hardcopy, Meditech RIS, Powerscribe, and Vocera communication system.
- You will perform the overall maintenance of x-ray record files (electronic and hard copy) and related paperwork.
- You will provide the necessary assistance to Medical Staff, Radiologists and co-workers.
- Associates degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred; or two years healthcare/ radiology experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of personal computer operating systems, assembly, software applications, computer hardware, and networking.
