Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Strong conceptual, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Good working knowledge of productivity tools and keyboarding skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Strong working knowledge of updated Microsoft based programs.
- Ability to interact with the public courteously and work harmoniously with colleagues.
- Ability to make responsible decisions in accordance with established policies and regulations promptly.
- All USD 383 employees must pass a background check.
Salary:
- $14.50 - $17.00/hr.
- Office Professional Level 3
- Placement within this range is based on relevant qualifications, including prior experience, education, and applicable certifications (e.g., bachelor's degree, advanced certification, bilingual proficiency, etc.).
Hours Per Day:
- Elementary schools – 7:30am - 2:30pm
- High school – 8:00am - 3:10pm
- Early Learning centers – 8:40am - 3:40pm
- Middle schools – 8:40am - 3:50pm
- Times may vary depending on the building assignment.
- Flexible hours depending on availability.
- Average workday = 7.5 hours.
Terms of Employment:
- Positions available during the regular school year.
- New employees go through a 45-day introductory period as part of onboarding after which benefits will begin, and leave can be used.
Reports To: Building Principal.
- Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on the evaluation of classified personnel.
Job Duties:
- Greet visitors and volunteers while maintaining school safety.
- Maintain student attendance and parent communication.
- Update enrollment numbers and classroom counts.
- Keep updated records of staff key cards and/or classroom keys.
- Assist with transportation requests and maintenance work orders.
- Update the schedule of appointments and maintain files for the principal and staff.
- Prepare requests for Purchase Orders and follow through with the order until received.
- Maintain Timeclock/payroll adjustments for certified and classified staff.
- Attend classes/training/office professional meetings needed to keep informed of district resources and guidelines.
- Manage substitute requests and scheduling.
- Knowledge of school accounts and spending.
- Any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
